Experience Qualifications:
Growing up on a horse farm, my mom was a riding instructor and Master’s Level Certified trainer with the Richard Shrake Resistance Free training program. I gained knowledge and experience from showing my own horses & observing instruction for adults, youth, and 4-H show clubs in both a lesson and clinic format. As I got older, I decided to give back to the horse industry by hosting camps and providing instruction of my own, and now work with 2 local facilities to teach beginner through intermediate equestrians starting at age 6. Both facilities where I teach place a huge emphasis on safety and good horsemanship, and we enjoy getting new riders hooked on horses! I also have a small breeding operation where my goal is to produce AQHA/ APHA/ IBHA horses that are affordable, and several of my foals have gone on to do well all the way up to Congress and World Show levels.
Services Available:
Beginner to intermediate casual riding instruction, for both English and Western riders, with an emphasis on safety & proper care of the horses. There is an IEA & IHSA team in one facility, so there is an opportunity to show once basic riding skills are well- established.
